Planning: Change of plans!

Hi welcome back! Due to an unfortunate series of events, we had to make changes to our script so that's what Ill be doing today. Let's get started!

Background

So we realized that we couldn't film at school because of scheduling. One of our main actors isn't free to film in the mornings before school so we have to switch to whole school scene. For this I think we can maybe have them run into each other on the way to school rather then at school. They could both have to walk since they can't drive or don't have a ride. Something like that.

Deciding

I think instead of having them meet on the way to school, they could meet at an outdoor mall. This is because it won't really make sense if they're meeting on the way to school but the audience can't see the school. If they're both on the way to a mall or something like that it would make more sense.

How the scene will happen.

Since they'll be meeting at a mall, Jessi won't really be carrying any books or anything like that. So instead of her dropping books and her having to pick them up, she could be getting coffee and then turn around and he bumps into her spilling the coffee on herself. He tries to clean it up for her and then she gets annoyed and says it's fine then walks off.

Final

I really like the new idea we came up with. I think it'll work better and I'm excited to try out this new scene. Re-writing the script taught me that sometimes things don't workout in your favor so you have to work around it however you can. Thank you so much for reading see you in the next one!
